Job Summary
A mid-level .NET developer is responsible for building C# applications, including anything from back-end services to their client-end counterparts. The primary responsibilities will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving and quality product is essential. This position will collaborate with product owners and subject matter experts directly which will require great communication. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical, design, and coding skills as well as experience in an Agile shop.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and collaborate on solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality and automatization
Education and/or Experience
- 3-5 years of development experience with exposure to C#, SQL, HTML, LINQ, MVC, XML, Entity Framework, WebAPI, IIS
- Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
- Familiarity with the .NET framework 2.0 – 4.6.1
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Skill for writing reusable C# libraries
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
- Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with popular JavaScript application frameworks, such as Angular, Bootstrap, and Kendo
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Proficient understanding of Team Foundation Server
- Knowledge of continuous integration
